Our Story
Since founding in 1978, Woodbank Junior FC has served the sports and recreation needs of Ramsbottom and surrounding area individuals and families with pride. With both indoor and outdoor facilities, we are the prime destination for boys and girls grassroots football with leagues, tournaments, and competitions.

Under 11s
Oldham CFC Tournament Champions
July 4, 2022
Sunday 3rd of July had our under 11s compete in the Oldham CFC Tournament. Despite a below par perfomance in the start of the group stages, the lads found their form to finish with a place in the quarter final
In QF the lads beat Junior Hoops in a penalty shoot out to book a semi final against Westend. Jamie, Harvey, Brandon, Kris and Tom scored all of our penalties and a great save from Eli for the opponents 5th took us through to the next round.
In the Semi Final against Westend Junior our lads got the winning goal to make it 1-0 with 2 minutes to go. A lovely driven corner from Jamie was converted with powerful head from Kris
The final against Droylsden Juniors and the under 11s out performed their opponents for the majority of the game but the Droylsden Keeper kept them in it would multiple saves. In the penalty shoot out, Jamie, Harvey and Brandon converted all 3 and our keeper Eli saved the Droylsden 3rd to make our lads Champions
Girls football
A football club for girls and young women based in Ramsbottom, Bury. All programmes and training sessions are dedicated to empowering players through training, fun matches and making new friends.
Summer Holiday Football Camp
Woodbank Junior FC prides itself on providing the children of its community with facilities during the school holidays.
As you can see from the attached video, players from our senior team take time out of their busy schedule to train and develop the children during this period. We have seen players really grow their footballing ability having access to the players coaching techniques
Places are priority for players of the club but not limited to should spaces be available
